The property was very nicely decorated. The main floor lounge had a very cute small car in the lounge with plants growing out of it and a small table that you could sit inside — very charming. There was a lush, private garden in the back yard where you could sit and eat. The elevator had a selection of musical tunes that you could play by pulling on a string and then listen to music as you go up and down the elevator. The ambiance of the hotel was very pleasing. Every evening or afternoon, you could order an alcoholic beverage or coffee/ tea ( an additional charge) and sit outside or in the charming lounge and drink your beverage. It was a very nice way to end a day of sight seeing. I was in a single room on the 7th floor (top floor). The room was very comfortable with a nice window that had a good view of the park below, and a clean bathroom. There was housekeeping service every day if you wanted it. The only complaint I had was that when I went in September, wasps flew into my room when I had the window opened, and I got stung by one. I don’t know if it was the time of the year, or if there were a wasp nest nearby. After that, I kept the windows closed and used the air conditioning unit for fresh air. I still would highly recommend this hotel, this may have been a seasonal or singular issue. The breakfast was an extra 15 Euros every day, but for the convenience and the numerous items in their Buffett spread it was worth the extra expense. Also, breakfast had a very long serving time of 6:30 to 11:00 every day (7:00 to 11:00 on weekends). The breakfast items were delicious: eggs, bacon, cold cut meats, cheeses, yogurt, numerous breads, your selection of coffee drinks, regular filter coffee (drip coffee), various juices, coffee cake, and more. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. However, many of the staff spoke limited English.

Boutique hotel with great atmosphere, interesting design elements (books on the wall, a Mini in the lobby, drums as nights stands in the room, etc). The hotel manager (Paul) checked me in, a perfect combination of business and personal communication style, doing his best to fulfill even special needs. Breakfast is plenty and tasty. The room was comfortable, it came with a balcony (don't know about other rooms but it was nice that I could step out, and also to let the air in, instead of the AC which is nowdays so common in hotels). An extra touch was the balcony with a view to the "Sky above Berlin" and the TV tower.

1. Great location in Prenzlauer berg. near U train, lots of cafes and bars 2. adorable, quaint hotel. 3. room-very comfortable, great shower, room 15 on the 1st floor, elevator 4. very good breakfast-ate in the adorable garden. travelled to Germany from USA for Euro 2024. Recommend Pratergarten and many cafes along Kastanienallee. Urban Bikes was very close-excellent service-we rented trail bikes and paniers for 5 days bike trip next day train to Wittenberge!

The location was perfect. A little north of the hustle and bustle so nice and quiet but close enough to walk to some sites and tram/bus to the others. Loads of nice cafe/bistros within easy walk too. After long days site-seeing the beds were really comfortable, the shower hot, a cosy room and black out curtains all helped good nights sleep. The hotel was busy but we couldn’t hear other residents either. Great value for money too!

We LOVED this room. The location is excellent--easy access to public transportation, or a nice walk to Alexanderplatz, Brandenburger Tor, Friedrichstrasse, etc. The street is quiet and the hotel offers a good breakfast and a lovely garden for relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the staff was lovely and helpful. There are plenty of cafes and little shops nearby. Definitely recommend.
